Basic Principle:
A CNC lathe is a machine tool that uses digital control technology to automatically control the movement and processing of the lathe. It reads the pre-written processing program through the CNC system (CNC), converts the digital instructions into the movement and action of each coordinate axis of the machine tool, controls the relative movement between the tool and the workpiece, and thus realizes the precise processing of the workpiece.
Components:Host: including mechanical parts such as the bed, spindle box, tool holder, tailstock, etc., is the basic structure of the lathe, providing the movement and support functions of the machine tool.
CNC system: It is the core of the CNC lathe and consists of hardware and software. Hardware includes computers, input and output devices, controllers, etc.; software includes system programs and user programs, which are used to control and manage the machine tool.
Servo system: It consists of servo motors and servo drivers. According to the instructions issued by the CNC system, it accurately controls the movement speed and position of each coordinate axis of the machine tool to ensure the processing accuracy.
Auxiliary devices: such as cooling systems, lubrication systems, chip removal devices, etc., provide necessary support and guarantee for the normal operation and processing of the machine tool.
Processing characteristics
High precision: It can achieve high-precision processing, and the processing accuracy can usually reach the micron level, which is suitable for processing parts with high precision requirements.
High efficiency: It can automatically complete multiple processing steps, reduce manual operation and auxiliary time, and improve production efficiency. At the same time, CNC lathes can also realize multi-axis linkage processing to further improve processing efficiency.
High flexibility: You can easily realize the processing of different parts by simply changing the processing program. It is suitable for the processing of single pieces, small batches and complex shape parts, and has strong flexibility and adaptability.
Strong ability to process complex shapes: It can realize the processing of various complex curves and surfaces through programming, and can process part shapes that are difficult to complete with traditional lathes.Vertical machining centers are widely used, and their advantages of high machining accuracy and high efficiency are unmatched by ordinary machine tools.
