1. The tool gets stuck during the tool change process

2. The tool magazine cannot rotate or is not in place
Fault causes : inverter failure, low grid voltage, motor rotation failure, overly tight mechanical connection.
Method of elimination :
Check whether the input and output voltages of the frequency converter are normal.
Increase the grid voltage to a stable range.
Check whether the motor is rotating normally and loosen the mechanical connection position.
3. The tool holder must not clamp the cutting tool
Cause of fault : the adjustment screw of the tool holder is loose, the spring is too loose, and the tool is overloaded.
Cethod of elimination :
Check and tighten the adjusting screws on the knife sleeve.
Replace or adjust the spring to ensure sufficient clamping force.
Check whether the weight of the cutting tool meets the requirements.
4. When changing tools, a power outage caused the tool magazine to stop at a random position
Method of elimination :
Open the manual button of the telescopic solenoid valve of the tool magazine to extend the tool magazine.
Use a wrench to turn the square head shaft of the tool magazine gearbox to align the tool magazine directly with the main shaft.
Manually remove the tool from the current tool claw, then turn off the manual button of the tool magazine solenoid valve to retract the tool magazine.
5. Do not pull out the knife when changing it
Cause of fault : The tool magazine cannot extend, the hydraulic cylinder for releasing the spindle tool does not act, and the tool release mechanism is stuck.
Method of elimination :
Check the telescopic solenoid valve of the tool magazine and the air source pressure.
Check whether the main shaft release tool hydraulic cylinder is operating and whether the oil level is normal.
Check whether the tool release mechanism is stuck and clean or replace the damaged parts.
6. A sudden power outage occurred while the tool magazine was in operation
Method of elimination :
Manually adjust the position of the tool magazine to ensure it is aligned with the spindle.
Check the power supply and circuits to eliminate the cause of the power outage.
7. Disordered tools in the tool magazine
Cause of fault : PMC parameters are lost or the system memory values do not match the actual ones, the tool changing device is disassembled and repaired, or the operator makes a mistake in operation.

Manually return the tool magazine to its original position.
Through the system PMC parameter screen, the tool magazine counter is initialized to 23.
In the MDI mode of the system, the actual cutting tools are sent back to the tool magazine.
8. The tool magazine stops after the spindle grab tool
Cause of fault : Fault in the tool magazine position detection signal.

Inspect the signal feedback device and circuits, and replace the damaged signal lines.
9. The tool magazine rotates slowly and does not return to its initial position
Cause of fault : insufficient air source pressure, cracks in the cylinder.
Method of elimination :
Check the gas source pressure to ensure it is stable within the required range.
Check if the cylinder is damaged and replace it with a new one.
10. Overload alarm
Cause of fault : Excessive mechanical load, such as lead screw or moving parts being too tight.
Method of elimination :
Adjust the anti-loosening nut of the Z-axis lead screw and the guide rail insert strip to reduce the load.
11. Poor indexing of the turntable
Cause of fault : The indexing position differs significantly from the positioning position of the mouse gear disk.
Method of elimination :
Adjust the 4-axis grid offset (parameter 0511) or the 4-axis gap compensation (parameter 0538).
12. The tool magazine keeps rotating
Cause of fault : interference or solenoid valve failure.

Check the grounding wire and deal with the interference source.
Check if the solenoid valve is damaged, and replace or repair it.
13. Tool change timeout fault alarm
Cause of fault : Problem with the spindle servo system.

Check the main shaft servo motor and its connections to ensure there is no looseness or damage.
14. The reset switch of the tool magazine is faulty
Cause of fault : Oil ingress or damage to the return-to-zero switch plug.
Method of elimination :
Clean or replace the reset switch plug.
15. The braking mechanism of the tool magazine motor is loose
Cause of fault : The braking mechanism is loose and cannot brake normally.
Method of elimination :
Check and adjust the brake mechanism of the tool magazine motor.
16. Loose knife failure
Cause of fault : insufficient air pressure, poor contact of the tool release button, failure of the tool release relay, insufficient tool strike volume.
Method of elimination :
Check if the air pressure has reached 6 kilograms plus or minus 1 kilogram.
Replace the loose knife button or check the circuit.
Check whether the knife release relay and solenoid valve are operating.
Adjust the knife strike volume until the knife is loose and smooth.
17. The tool position was incorrect when the tool magazine crossed the zero point
Cause of fault : Oil ingress or damage to the zero switch plug.

Clean or replace the zero switch plug.
18. The telescopic solenoid valve of the tool magazine is faulty
Cause of fault : The solenoid valve coil is burned out or the valve body is leaking air.

Replace the solenoid valve coil or valve body.
19. The oil cup in the knife punching cylinder is short of oil
Cause of fault : Insufficient hydraulic oil.
Method of elimination :
Add hydraulic oil to the oil cup of the knife cutting cylinder.
20. The screws inside the tool magazine are loose
Cause of fault : Loose screws lead to air leakage.
Method of elimination :
Retighten the screws and replace the sealing ring in the cylinder block.
