The mini lathe is capable of turning, drilling, boring, threading and various compound processing, and is suitable for precision manufacturing of various materials such as metal, wood and plastic.
1.Turning process
The mini lathe drives the workpiece to rotate at high speed through the spindle, and in coordination with the cutting tool, it can complete the cutting of outer circles, inner holes, end faces, conical surfaces and formed curved surfaces. For instance, square timbers can be processed into round pen holders or prayer beads, and high-precision outer diameter trimming can also be carried out on aluminum parts.
2. Drilling and reaming
Drill at the center of the workpiece or the designated position, and fix the slender parts with the tailstock center to avoid shaking during processing. It supports the use of twist drills, center drills and other tools, with a hole diameter accuracy of ±0.02mm.
3. Thread turning
It can process metric (0.4-2.0mm) and imperial (12-52TPI) threads, and is suitable for making screws, bolts and other connecting parts. The pitch is precisely controlled through the gear exchange system to ensure a tight thread fit.
4. Knurling and ring groove processing
Anti-slip patterns are pressed on the surface of the workpiece using a special knurling knife, which is often used for components such as handles and knobs. Ring groove processing is used for the structural forming of retaining spring grooves, sealing grooves, etc. of shaft parts.
5. Multi-material adaptability
Supports processing of materials such as 45# steel, copper, aluminum, cast iron, plastic, bakelite and wood, meeting diverse creative needs ranging from metal parts to wood art ornaments.
6. Numerical control automation extension (for some models)
The high-end mini CNC lathe supports G-code programming and can import processing programs via a USB flash drive to achieve automatic tool feed and continuous operation of multiple processes, enhancing the consistency and efficiency of complex parts.
