Rigidity advantage at the structural mechanics level ‌

The inclined layout of the inclined bed makes the overall cross-sectional area of the bed larger. Its structural strength against bending and torsion is much higher than that of the flat bed of the same specification. The cutting force generated during the cutting operation can be evenly dispersed and transmitted to the machine tool base, significantly reducing the vibration in heavy cutting and intermittent cutting conditions, and avoiding problems such as tool deflection and vibration marks during the processing.

The overall center of gravity of the equipment is lower, and its dynamic stability during high-speed feed is significantly enhanced. Even during long-term continuous operation, structural fatigue is less likely to occur. The precision retention period is over 30% longer than that of ordinary flat-bed CNC lathes, and the rate of precision decline after long-term use is slower.

Practical advantages in chip removal and operation and maintenance: ‌

Relying on the inclined bed Angle of 30° to 60°, metal chips can naturally slide down to the chip discharge port by gravity and will not accumulate near the guide rails or spindles. This fundamentally eliminates the problem of chip residue scratching the workpiece surface and entangling the tool, making it particularly suitable for processing materials such as stainless steel, copper, and aluminum that are prone to generating long chips.

The inclined processing area fully opens up the operator's field of vision, allowing them to clearly see the cutting status of the tool in real time and promptly identify abnormalities such as tool breakage and workpiece offset. At the same time, the core components such as the guide rails and lead screws are significantly less eroded by chips and cutting fluids, and the wear rate of the components is reduced. The overall failure rate of the equipment is about 40% lower than that of the flat bed model, and the later operation and maintenance costs are significantly compressed.

Efficiency advantage at the production adaptation level ‌

The internal space layout of the inclined bed is more compact, allowing for the easy installation of 8-15 position power tool turrets, expanding the functions of the Y-axis and C-axis, and achieving compound turning and milling processing. With a single clamping, it can complete multi-process processing such as eccentric holes and complex curved surfaces, completely avoiding positioning errors caused by secondary clamping. The processing efficiency of complex parts can be increased by more than 50%.

It is naturally compatible with the transformation of automated production lines and can be directly connected to truss manipulators and automatic feeding machines without the need for additional modification of the chip removal path. It can stably support unattended continuous production for more than 8 hours, significantly reducing the downtime for manual chip cleaning and auxiliary clamping. In scenarios of large-scale parts processing, its comprehensive production capacity is nearly twice that of the same specification of flat bed equipment.
