There is no unified and universal fault code for different brands and models of CNC machine tool systems. The most authoritative reference is always the original factory manual that comes with the corresponding machine tool. The following is a summary of common fault codes for mainstream systems, which can be used as an emergency reference
Ⅰ. Common Core Codes of Fanuc Systems
The program alarm (P/S) 000 parameter modification requires a power-off and restart for it to take effect
Program alarm (P/S) 010 G code instruction error, using G code that is not supported by the system
Program alarm (P/S) 073 tool compensation value missing, compensation parameters need to be set in the H register
Servo alarm 401 The servo amplifier is not ready, the driver is not powered on, or the signal is disconnected
The servo alarm shows that the following error of the 410/411 axis is too large, the load is too heavy, and the lead screw is stuck
Overtravel alarm 500-505 For hard overtravel of each axis, manual reverse movement of the axis to reset is required
The hardware alarm 1001 emergency stop signal is triggered. Check whether the emergency stop button has been reset
Hardware alarm 310 The battery voltage of APC is low. It needs to be replaced immediately to prevent the loss of the origin
Ⅱ. Common Core Codes of Siemens Systems
25000 If the shaft following error exceeds the limit, check the mechanical load or servo parameters
25050 The encoder signal is faulty. Check if the circuit is disconnected
23000 The shaft overruns, and the soft and hard limit switches are triggered
12000 There was a communication failure in the driver, and the connection between the NCU and the driver module was interrupted
13000 Drive overload, excessive mechanical load or motor failure

1.Guangshu GSK980 series
008/015: The spindle simulation voltage is invalid. An anomaly occurs when executing G96 or shifting M codes
1041: Abnormal spindle servo or frequency converter
2. Haas system
100/103: The air pressure is too low. The air pressure in the workshop needs to be restored to ≥85psi
108: Emergency stop, reset the emergency stop button and check the door interlock device
3. Mazak System
1001: Servo alarm. There is an overload or wiring issue with the servo motor or amplifier
221: Spindle driver alarm, overcurrent or overload fault
